# Analytics settings (https://www.getfounderhq.com/docs/analytics/guides/analytics-settings)

These settings belong to one brand. Change anything, then press **Save**
at the top.

## Google Search Console

Connect Search Console to bring Google's search data into FounderHQ.
Press **Connect Search Console**, sign in with Google, pick your site
under **Search Console property**, and press **Use property**.

FounderHQ reads Google once a day.

## Events SDK

This is where your SDK keys live. With no key yet, press **Set up the
SDK**: a short wizard creates the key and shows the code for your website,
your mobile app, or your backend.

Each key shows **Live** once it has sent an event, and **Waiting** until
then.

### Allowed websites

A key for a website works only from the addresses listed here. A browser
on any other address is refused. Mobile apps are not limited by this list.

Add every address your site is served from, such as
`https://your-domain.com` and `https://www.your-domain.com`.

### What to record

Turn each kind of automatic event on or off for a key:

**Sessions**, **Page views**, **Page exits**, **Outbound clicks**,
**Rage clicks**, **Dead clicks**, **Scroll depth**, **Web vitals**,
**App screens**, and **App lifecycle**.

A change applies on the next page load. You do not need to redeploy.

### Clicks and forms

Limit where clicks and form changes are recorded: only on some pages,
never on some pages, only some elements, or never some elements.

### Add or revoke a key

**Add another key** creates one more, for example for a second site.
**Revoke** stops a key at once. Owners and admins create and revoke keys.

You can also manage every key in one place: see
[API keys](/account/api-keys).

## AI visibility

Choose which machine visits to track: **AI answer engines**,
**Search indexing**, **Model training**, and **Other automated fetches**.
See [AI visibility](/analytics/ai-visibility) for the setup.

## Attribution

| Setting | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| **Revenue owner** | **Individual** credits a payment to the person who paid. **Organization** credits the company they work for. |
| **Attribution window** | How far back FounderHQ looks for the visit that earned a payment: 30, 60, 90, or 180 days |

See [Understand your revenue](/analytics/guides/understand-your-revenue).

## Visitors

### IP address

Choose how much of a visitor's IP address FounderHQ keeps: **Most
private**, **Balanced**, or **Full IP address**.

### Leave your team out

Under **Internal and test users**, add the people whose visits should not
count. Match them by **Email**, **Email domain**, **Phone**,
**Your user ID**, or by picking a **Person**.

Their new visits are left out of your numbers. People and Events & Visits
hide their past ones too, until you turn off **Hide internal users**.

Add your company's email domain to cover the whole team at once.

## How long events are kept

Your plan sets this, and there is no setting for it. The bottom of the
Analytics sidebar shows it, with your events this month. See
[Subscription](/account/subscription#what-each-plan-includes).
