# Compose (https://www.getfounderhq.com/docs/compose)

Compose helps you write LinkedIn posts. It reads the posts you already
published, learns how you write, and drafts new ones with you in a chat.
You copy the finished post and publish it on LinkedIn yourself.

## What Compose does, and what it does not

| Compose does | Compose does not |
| --- | --- |
| Read your public LinkedIn profile and posts, through a Chrome extension | Ask for your LinkedIn password |
| Describe your writing voice from your own posts | Post, like, comment, or message on LinkedIn |
| Brainstorm ideas and draft posts with you | Schedule a post |
| Study competitors and creators you choose | Work with networks other than LinkedIn |

## How it works

1. You install the FounderHQ Chrome extension and enter your LinkedIn
   handle.
2. The extension imports your profile and your posts, in your own browser.
3. Astro reads your posts and describes your writing voice.
4. You chat with Astro to get ideas and drafts.
5. You edit a draft, then press **Copy post** and paste it into LinkedIn.
