# Publish (https://www.getfounderhq.com/docs/publish)

Publish turns keywords into published blog posts. You add the keywords you
want to rank for. Publish plans posts on a calendar, Astro writes and
reviews each one, and the finished article goes to the blog you already
have.

## How it works

1. **You connect your blog.** Ghost, WordPress, Payload, GitHub, or your
   own API.
2. **You add keywords.** What your customers type into a search engine.
3. **Publish plans posts on a calendar,** one for each keyword in turn.
4. **Astro writes a brief** two weeks before a post's date, and **the
   draft** one week before.
5. **Astro reviews its own draft** and scores it from 0 to 100. A draft
under the bar goes back for another pass.
6. **You edit and publish,** or let auto-publish send the drafts that
   pass.

Everything in Publish belongs to one brand. The brand switcher at the top
of the sidebar chooses which one.

## The parts of Publish

| In the sidebar | What it is |
| --- | --- |
| **Keyword Planner** | The keywords this brand is trying to rank for, and Google's suggestions |
| **Calendar** | Every planned post, by month or as a list |
| **Articles** | Every brief, draft, and published post |
| **Settings** | Blog connections, authors, cadence, and writing rules |

## Limits

| Limit | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Articles per month | Set by your plan, shared across your brands. See [Subscription](/account/subscription). |
| Active keywords | 100 per brand |
| Post types per keyword | 4 |
| Posts per month you can plan | Up to 90 |

**Articles this month** against your limit.

## What Publish needs

Astro writes with the AI models you choose in
[Publish → Settings](https://app.getfounderhq.com/publish/settings), under **AI models**. Connect an AI
provider first: see [AI providers](/account/ai-providers).

No blog yet? FounderHQ has a package that adds one to a Next.js site. See
